C4C Pilot Project 2027 – Scientifically Measuring Arctic Cooling
Climate change is affecting the Arctic earlier and more strongly than almost any other region on Earth. Rising temperatures and melting glaciers influence not only the polar regions but global climate processes as well.
In the summer of 2027, we will test for the first time whether cloud brightening can create measurable local cooling in the Arctic. Using a research vessel in Svalbard, advanced scientific instruments, and working alongside an international team of scientists, we aim to collect reliable data that can support a fact-based discussion about potential climate intervention methods.
To make our 18-week pilot project possible, we need your support.
